Amazing Makeup Monday!

I have officially decided that every Monday will be Amazing Makeup day! Will I be able to remember to update this topic every Monday? We'll see. I mainly got the idea from one of my good penpals Mara who is a complete GURU when it comes to makeup. I can't even count how many times I've been to her Flickr or Facebook page and her photos just blow me away! For example:


She calls this look 'Juicy Fruit' and I LOVE it!



I hope she doesn't mind me using her pictures on my blog. o_O By the way, if anyone sees their photos here and would like them removed, please let me know and I'll take them down ASAP. All photos seen in my blog are used for visual aid and complimentary purposes. In no way will I use your photos for derogatory comments or anything that could tick you off. :)

What's it Cost?

I'm sure some of you are wondering how much is costs to start your own AVON business, or if there's a catch. There's really no catch and the cost is only $10! This one time fee will cover the cost of your brochures and learning materials. However, if you join online (instead of through an AVON rep), the cost is $20 since AVON will have to ship your Starter Kit to you through the mail.

I don't know how many people I've heard complaining about this $10 fee! It's a fact of life that you have to spend money to make money. However, most other companies similar to AVON will charge anywhere from $50 to even $300 for a Starter Kit!! It just makes sense to sell AVON so why not you? Why not now?

During my first campaign I sold around $128 worth of products. $5.95 went toward my brochures, I bought some samples, and even a couple things for myself but the majority of my earnings were just from customer orders. I began my AVON business in March of 2009 and it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. I love my business, the products, and my fellow representatives. Not only are we a company, but a family working together to help the world feel beautiful!

I decided to create this blog dedicated to AVON because even though I'm still a "noob" at the whole AVON thing, I believe that I can still help other representatives who are just getting started. My blog will include hints, tips, and tricks that I've come up with on my own or that I've received from other reps.
